What is Pare Dating?

How much does Pare cost?

Pare costs $120/month, which includes:

What does the background check include?

We screen every applicant for criminal records including violent crimes, sex offenses, fraud convictions, and other disqualifying offenses. We also verify government-issued IDs and match profile photos to live video verification. The background check typically takes 24-48 hours.

What if I don't pass the background check?

If you have disqualifying criminal convictions, you won't be able to join Pare. This protects our community and ensures everyone's safety. We'll notify you if you're not approved, but we won't share specific details of what was found.

How does the personal concierge work?

Every Pare member gets a personal date concierge. They help with profile creation, venue suggestions, outfit advice, conversation starters, and graceful rescheduling when life happens. Think of them as your dating coach and assistant combined. You can message them anytime through the app.

How many matches will I get?

Typically 3-5 curated matches per week. We focus on quality over quantity. Every match is verified, background-checked, in your area, and meets your stated preferences. No bots, no inactive profiles, no time-wasters.

What is the no-ghosting policy?

After every confirmed date, both people must provide feedback. If someone confirms a date and doesn't show up without notice, or repeatedly ghosts matches, their account is flagged, suspended, or removed. We foster mature, respectful communication— not the disappearing acts common on other apps.

Can I cancel my membership?

Yes. You can cancel anytime with no penalties. You can also pause your membership if you meet someone and want to see where it goes.

Is Pare only for people over 40?

Pare is designed for adults 40 and over, but we accept members 35+ who are looking for serious relationships with mature partners. The average member age is 45-55.

What cities is Pare available in?

Pare is currently available in major Canadian cities (Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Victoria, Ottawa) and expanding to U.S. markets in 2026. If you're outside these areas, join our waitlist and we'll notify you when we launch in your city.
